Amarillo is now under new ownership. We are opening March 14th and 21st with test and tune races so everybody, including myself, can work the bugs out. We will begin the bracket and points races in April. We will have some special events during the season, including Southwest Superchargers as part of a 2 day event Memorial Day weekend.

Are you going to run 1/8th or 1/4 mile this year?

Bracket racing will be 1/8 mile. The bracket finals are 1/8 so we decided to stay with the same format as the finals.

Thanks and good luck up there.
Hard to set up a car to run 1/8th and 1/4 on our budget, but not many 1/4's out here anymore.

What are you doing for track prep?  We came once last year for test and tune.  There was a big turnout, which was good, but every street car and pickup were burning up the track.  We couldn't get our car to hook so we loaded up and came home.

We are going to do a lot more track prep, especially on TNT races. It should be fine this year.

If you wre there for last years "Nitro Night" we had a problem with the compound that didn't show up until it was already down. We tried respraying it but it didn't do very well.
