As the title says, how much does your track charge to get in the gate?
Do they charge the racer to get in? Price for children? Do you have a lot of spectators?

I didnt want to clutter up the other posts with this so I started a new one.

Just trying to put some info together. People are going to be much more carefull where they spend their entertainment dollar in this economy, the new economy.  They are not only looking for the most for the least, but quality of product.

Some of the tracks I've looked at it's between $8 and $15.  I think it's also relative to the market you are in. Tracks in Dallas and the bigger Metropolitan areas can get away with charging $15 or $20 at the gate for certain events, because they are drawing from a potential market that is made up of millions of people.  In other words, even if they lose people's business because of the price there are many many more people in the area willing to make up for that loss.  In the Temple area, you are dealing with a much smaller demo, and you also have to keep in mind that a very large part of that demo is made up of military personnel, with a limited amount of disposable income.

Most of the DFW tracks charge $10-$12 for bracket racing and $15 to $20 for features (pro mods, altereds, etc.)  TnT is usually $10 and $5 to race

Most of the tracks out here are $15 to get in the pits.  And not very many spectators that aren't part of a race crew.

I think that in a smaller area that 10 dollars is more than enough. I always thought that the driver should not have to pay gate fees, as we are already paying to run whatever class, just my opinion.
