LOL..
I didn't think Todd would go along with NHRA for long, way more expensive to run their programs I would think..
Hope it works out..

Yes, Jimmy Farmer bought it (Desert Thunder).. Tommy Freeman (Dr. Hook) is going to work for him doing the track prep and starting line..
Tommy sent me an email and said to date they are scraping years of rubber buildup from the entire track, sweeping the entire grounds (pits and track) and doing a bunch of other repairs and upgrages..
I checked out the website and it looks like they will have a decent program.. Hope they do good..

We may have to check out Desert Thunder. One of the closest tracks to us. It has some dirt problems when the wind blows.

we've installed a catch system along both sides of the track all the way to the end to help with the blowing dirt.also have a new drag and broom and should have the street sweeper/vac truck out of the shop pdq.drag/broom and vac will be used all throughout an event to eliminate/stay on top of the problem.in the near future hope to have a machine with wash/scrub/vac and burners on the rear for cleanups and keeping the track clean.

Sounds like a step in the right direction. We may come give it a try.

I first saw one of those down at HMP. Those little machines are nice, but expensive.
