Just switched from small block to big block here, and went from ladder bar to a 4-link. I'm not quite ready, but I plan on going to TXR to do a little testing.

Last year I went out five weekends, and didn't get past third round on a fresh engine/trans.

Car is sitting in the garage ready to go needing only an oil change.. But likely will not get it out till mid season or not..I have a lot of stuff going on with the house we just bought and need to get a shop built.. Money is being diverted to completing those projects first..

New paint, New motor, bigger tires to hopefully compensate the bigger motor and finally get to use the enclosed trailer(although not this weekend, but hopefully next we have it ready)

Got mine fired up last night. Need to change oil, trans fluid and fill up radiator and load it on the trailer in the morning for tomorrows race at NSD. Wouldn't you know the ironic part is I had to work every night in the cold weather this week to finish the car for this saturday and now I am sick. So who knows if I'll race tomorrow.

Always changing big in off season.
this year, new paint, tires, wheels, Nitrous.
Still need to add rear drag bar and diff girdle.

Our season won't start until April or so out West.

We do get to put the car on a chassis dyno next week..

I still have to get my heads reworked so I can give Jimmy back the ones he lent me for that last big money race.  This past weekend when it was 75 degrees, is the first time I've felt like actually pulling the car out and working on it, but now that it's snowing......

i finished my new dash, new slicks are on. New Fuel cell installed, rebuilt the carb last friday and got it put back on. All I need to do is change the oil and fire her up and check for any leaks and then I will be ready. I still would like to get my aluminum bed cover built before we crank up, but we'll see..

Drove mine down the highway about 2 miles yesterday for the first time since Thanksgiving. Put a new tranny in to replace the cracked housing and a little looser converter, just to see what it does.  First race is an Index race at LR.  Then, if things go well, Ill be in Ennis for their first Bracket Race the next day.  Looking forward to getting on the track!
