What is the best way to get there from Houston? Go east in Ennis or go up to Dallas and head back?

Come up I-45 to South Dallas. East on I-20 and East on Hwy 175. Pass through the town of Crandall and the racetrack is on the right...

when you get on hwy175,watch for the popo and do the speed limit.reminds me of 59 near diboll/ the pine valley track.

Also slow down to 60 mph just north of Ennis as you enter Dallas County. Basically, once you get through Ennis, drive the speed limit. You'll be passing through some infamous speed traps...

Thanks for all the replies. Due to unseen circumstances, we will not be atteneding the IHRA bracket finals. Hope to see most of you guys in Ennis for the NHRA bracket finals.

Ok, I'll help with directions from Houston. Go staight past the first rollover accident. Continue another five of so miles until you get to the six car pileup. Turn right, get ripped off at the gas station. Continue back staight until you get run down by a semi, etc,etc,etc.
