I received this e-mail at 9:12 PM Friday night. The same message is now posted on their website...

Racers, after watching and talking to the bracket racers on Friday Night and keeping a continuous eye on the conditions of our newly ground racing surface, we have elected to reschedule the Summit ET Scrimmage/Gold Card Race until Sunday, March 7th.  We feel that due to the cold weather we have experienced this month and the lack of cars that have been down the track as a result, we cannot provide a track that is fair for ALL racers.
 
Saturday, February 20th will now be a test n tune event with an Electronics and No Electronics Gambler's Race.  We hope that all of our bracket racers and test n tune racers will still make the trip to North Star Dragway and join us to experience the new racing surface and help us put some rubber on the track.  We are calling on all of our racers to help us make this the premiere drag strip that we know it can be.
 
Gates will open at 10:00am and racing will begin at 11:00am.  Admission will be $10 per person and tech cards will be $5.  Gambler's Race entries will be announced during the event and will be a 100% payback.
 
We would like to sincerely apologize for the late notice, but we feel very strongly in making sure that each racer is given an equal opportunity for a successful day at the track.
