Box 1058 Brownwood, TX 76804 - be sure to include your phone/cell number and the size of your rig for parking assignment. Open Parking assigned on a 1st entry/1st serve basis for 3 day entries only. NOTE -Abilene racers with rented spaces are asked to pre-register and you will have your regular space available if you are coming. If you have a rented space and do not plan to attend you are asked to please call us and let us know so we can use that space. Pre entries may also call 800-421-8812 to register with a credit card. I had heard that you couldnt have any electronics n the car for Mod like no trans brake even if you wernt using it. What are the rules now. My car will run either class. I just have to take the box out.

For the Leftovers, box out of the car is required. You can have the brake installed, just can't use it. It'll be like our regular season "Pro Footbrake" class.
Regular season (points) Modified you cannot even be wired for electronics. A t-brake is "allowed" but only with a switch to the solenoid for reverse and the switch can't be where the driver could trigger it for launch.

We will be there. Abilene is a nice track. It has been our home track for the past two years even though it is a 200 mile drive each way.

I had a couple of reasons that I decided to run at Abilene but being scared to race someone wasnt one of them!  I saw you run, but didn't get to talk to you. I think my dad did tho. |

Ill do my best to keep it updated. There were 58 in mod and 90 something in top. Pretty good turnout. They are doing 2 tech cards in both classes for the second race. Gonna be a long night since we havnt even started the first round of the second race.
