Won second round and developed a trans leak. Bad one. :/ I'm done. Had a good time though and met a lot of great people. Its a pretty nice facility also.

Feels like I'm posting status updates on FB. LoL

Haha, That's sucks about the trans leak. Seems like there was a lot of bad luck. My car was puking oil out.

Starting back up. Got one time run and I picked up a .10. Fixed my car. And I also qualified for the quick reaction time race. Currently in a rain shower delay.

Congratulations to both of yall! Hopefully I can be more competitive next year. I just keep changing my car up, so it acts different every time I race.

I sure hope so! I am tired of just spending money, and getting any back haha. My plans keep changing for the car, but all in all, it will be faster, and better next year.

Thanks, and you have great holiday as well!

Glad y'all came, hope to see you again in 2010.  I don' wanna hear nuthin' outa you Mr. Quicksilver, all I got to do is watch all day!  You'd think I could build a trans that would last longer than about 500 passes.  Nice racin', both of you.

We got the Mod time trial in and it was really good - track was holding real well.  Jay said he had his best 60' ever and Debbie ran the same thing she was dialed at Redline at the finals runoff, including the 60'.  I watched Ty run and he left clean and straight too.  He ran a 6.37 IIRC and was dialed about 6.45 the day before.  It started sprinkling when Debbie made her pass and then started raining decent right when we got Top up in the lanes.  Figures.  Dean called a meeting and we fussed about fighting the weather all day vs letting folks go home.  Sunday was a heavy traffic day and we had more than a few people there that had to go north and west where the weather was getting worse.  I think the track would have held just fine but the on/off again would have made people nuts.  I also think you'd have a bit of a sell job to get the Top people to run when the track temp got below 50F.  Except Joe Collier that is LOL.  Everybody at least got something and the Jrs made out like bandits because there were only 7 left in.

Have a good holiday everyone.

I ran 3 6.96 in a row friday then it steadily slowed down to a 7.05 on Sat. The one time trial we ran Sunday it ran a 6.93. 60 fts went from 1.53 to 1.57 then Sundays was a 1.51 which is what it runs normally. Weird weather I believe was the main cause.

Good job Lane glad to see you come away with atleast one win to finish out the year.

My results in lufkin left a bad taste in my mouth for the 2009 season, I think we need to hit up the Jan 2 San Antonio Hangover race  Grin I hope to have my motor freshened up by then!!!

Actually I had 3 wins in five races w 2 semifinals for the end of the year. Of course, 4 of those were at my little duck pond, Little River. Wink

Definately heading to the Hangover Nats. That's only 4 weeks away!
