Cars:  There will be 4 lanes per class. Footbrake 2-5 and Super Pro 7-10.
When you are called to the lanes, Lane choice will be first come first serve.  Staging Lanes 2 and 4 will be right lane for Footbrake, Lanes 3 and 5 will be Left Lane.  Staging Lanes 7 and 9 will be right lane for Super Pro, Lanes 8 and 10 will be Left Lane.  At the discretion of the HRP Staging Lanes Official, the lanes may be pulled in a random order.  Example: Lane 2 right and Lane 5 left.
Starting in Round 4, all cars will be brought down to 2 lanes.  Lanes 2 and 3 for Footbrake, Lanes 7 and 8 for Super Pro until the finish of the race.
All Bye Runs will be decided by Best Reaction Time from the round before.  Example: If 2 racers get a .000 RT in the round before, the first racer in the round before to get the perfect light will get the Bye Run.
Bracket Team Selection and Payout (No Juniors)

The bracket team will be selected by choosing the top 25 drivers in Super Pro and the top 25 drivers in Footbrake.  We will pay up to $.50 per point for the Top Ten in points only per Class.  Checks will be awarded at the Year-End HRP Awards Banquet.

The 2010 South Central Division 4 Summit E.T. Finals will be at the Texas Motorplex, and contested on October 8-10, 2010.

National Dragster Challenge

The National Dragster Challenge race on Saturday, July 31, 2010 will follow the format of a normal 1/4 mile race as far as points, classes, and purse.  The winners from the Footbrake class and Electronics class will feature a “Wally” for the winner along with the cash payouts for the day!

KING of the TRACK Program

The way we will determine the King of the track will be as follows:

The two class winners will qualify for one spot on the ladder for the king of the track competition.

At the end of the season we will tally all of the winners from each night of racing, and build two ladders (electronics and no-electronics) with the most recent winner places as the number one qualifier and work backwards by date to fill the ladder.  This will give everyone the chance to improve their qualifying position throughout the year.  Your last win will be considered your qualifying spot win as we build the ladders.

On race day we will run off both ladders down to a qualifying champion in both the Super Pro and Footbrake classes.  These qualifying winners will race in a best of two out of three races to determine the King of the track who will receive the “Wally” and Hat.
