I recently bought a car with a small block.

It has a flat top 355 in it with a 58cc alluminum head which has been milled.

I have 2.02, 1.6 valves. 4.56 gears in the rearend, a 350 trans and 3000 stall converter.
Running a 750 carburetor. Car weighs 2850


Cam help please! I don't know where to even start, I wanted to shift at 6500.

I ran a similiar engine combo for years, in a street / strip '74 Nova.  My favorite cam was an Isky .500 lift / 300 duration hydraulic piece.

Well cvshaft, my advice is to contact what ever cam grinder you like, (crane, isky, or even doug herbert), and tell them what parts you have and the results you want and they will make a proper recomendation for you on the cam spec's lifter's and springs. Keep us up to date on your progress. RG
